Candle Safety
- Please keep wicks trimmed to 1/4" and centered. Make sure wick clippings do not fall into wax pool.
- If you are burning a Chubbie candle, give it a little hug when the sides get warm, this helps it keep its shape. Again, please keep wick trimmed to 1/4". Chubbie could use a hug after about an hour. Always burn in a candle pan.
- Never burn a candle in a draft, including ceiling fans, they will burn unevenly.
- Burn times with candles are different: Always burn candle until the melt pool reaches the side. If you don't you will cause a tunnel effect and the candle will continue to just burn straight down. If in doubt, put candle out, allow to cool and relight.
- Direct light can cause candle color to fade. Keep out of sunlight.
- Keep burning candles away from pets and children. Wax is hot and will burn.
- Always burn a candle on some type of heat resistant holder. Be sure they are on a level surface.
- Highly scented candles will produce some smoking. Keeping the wick trimmed and avoiding drafts will help reduce this.
- The tin cans become hot when burning. Please do not move while lit and allow to cool.
- Remember to burn with caution and never leave unattended
